Limited pay.
Went to prawn at Hai Bin located at Sin Ming Avenue.
While I had swore earlier on to catch 400 prawns,
I had only managed to capture a pathetic number of 2 prawns.
Kittycat wouldn't stop looking at me,
so after barbecuing the two prawns which I had caught,
I gave it one to eat.
I think the prawn must had been delicious,
because the kittycat ate it up in seconds.

Pillars.
On the eve of my birthday, I was stoked,
because friends I had barely known for an hour,
had decided to do me something really different!
I felt so special!

...while Esther and JH sang along with the song!

because I see her all the time!
Feel so loved by the people around me,
and I live in gratitude to them.

Mimosa touch.
We have a really expensive kite,
and to leave it at home is of no use,
so we have decided to go to the barrage to fly it!
Frankly speaking, I only like kites when they are flying.
The process of getting it from the ground to the sky is tiring,
and simply too arduous for my liking.
We arrived at the barrage in the early evening.
The sky was filled with kites!
Very pretty.
Typical me.
I can't go anywhere without snacks in hand.
My top from Zara which has got little heart prints all over it!
It's really cooling and suitable for the humid weather in Singapore.
I was all ready to get the kite flying!
Can't remember how long it took us to fly the kite from this level...
...to this level and beyond!
Eventually we flew the kite so high that I couldn't even see where it was.
The kites in the evening sky,
with the Marina Bay Sands and the Flyer as backdrop.
Vay, vay, vay lovely.

Kick off.
It was a Saturday,
and off we were to Premier Pitch to support the boys!
They were having the inter-SGH futsal tournament,
and we were loyal supporters, just short of the pompoms!

because I was too engrossed watching them to take nice photos of them in action.

Exuberating.
A food post!
We were in the vicinity of Turf City,
so we decided to have our dinner there.
There were a few restaurants for us to choose from,
but in the end we decided to go Peranakan!
Pictures of the dishes we ordered at Manis Manis:
Avocado juice with brown sugar at the bottom.
Black ink squid.
Coconut vegetable stew.
Beef rendang.
LOVE this dish!

Can't remember what we had for dessert!
All the food was super yummy,
and the pictures are making me really hungry now!

The opposition.
Found in a folder somewhere in my lappie,
some long overdue pictures of the recent Singapore general elections.
As I was in the vicinity of the Singapore Democratic Party's Holland-Bukit Timah rally,
I decided to drop by and join the friends to take a look.
It is my first elections and also my first rally,
and needless to say, I was really excited about it!
The flag of the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP).
As the field where the rally was held was completely occupied by the crowd,
the late comers had to move up to the HDB blocks to have a better view.
Zixiong and Yokiesan eating their packet of MacDonalds seaweed shaker fries.
They bought Ah Balling to eat as well!
We could only find space for ourselves on the 11th floor of the HBD flat.
The number of people present at the rally was crazy!

Fast track.
Headed out of town to the factory outlet stores.
The stores were located a little way off town,
but with the very affordable transportation available,
it was no problem getting anywhere we wanted to go.
A jump shot everywhere I go!
The Adidas factory outlet.
There was practically no one shopping there,
but it suits me fine because I don't really it when it's all crowded.
Myself, in the Adidas store!
Changed out of my dress into this outfit which I dug out from my bag,
because the dress was teeny weeny and it made me uncomfortable.
This shoe caught my eye!
Love it!
Went over to Nike factory outlet as well.
There were just too many things for me to buy!

Roller coaster.
I'd basically done all that I could in this small town,
so I did nothing but loitered around the mall.
Chanced upon a children's singing competition at the quadrangle,
and I simply had to stop to listen to the children sing.
Those little things sure had powerful vocals.
